Revere Data’s CEO Kevin O’Brien discusses where to look for opportunities in the supply chain of the airline industries on CNBC’s “Talking Numbers”.  As the airline industry upgrades its fleets and purchases new planes, manufacturers and suppliers are in good positions with steady demand. Each manufacturer is releasing new products to meet growing demand from a rebounding commercial aviation sector. Their products focus on greater fuel efficiency, range, advanced technology and passenger comfort.

Revere used its databases to identify suppliers to the large aircraft manufacturers and found that out of more than 200 parts suppliers, Boeing, Airbus and Embraer use 18 of the same suppliers. These 18 suppliers are up 23% over the past year. The focus of these businesses range from Specialty Metals and Titanium Alloys, Satellite Systems, Specialty & Performance Chemicals, Aircraft Engines and Parts, to Training & Testing Services. By looking at companies in specific subsectors related to titanium metals or aircraft engine and parts, attractive long-term opportunities exist in the aerospace industry.
