ISE - Revere Wal-Mart Suppliers Index/Options ::

Revere and International Securities Exchange have developed a unique, relationship-based index that allows investors to track the overall performance of companies that derive a significant portion of their revenues from supplying the world’s leading retailer, Wal-Mart Stores Inc.

Dozens of US exchange-traded companies receive 10%, 20% even 40% or more of their total revenues from Wal-Mart, including household names like the Clorox Company, Del-Monte Foods, Energizer, Mattel and Kellogg’s.  By using the Revere Relationships™ database, the ISE and Revere ranked eligible companies according to percentage of revenue derived from supplying Wal-Mart.  Candidates were further screened by certain market capitalization and liquidity requirements.  The resulting index includes thirty companies that each derive between 16%-74% of their annual revenues from Wal-Mart.

The ISE-REVERE Wal-Mart Suppliers Index and Options provides a benchmark for investors interested in tracking those companies that call Wal-Mart a key customer.  It also allows investors to limit price volatility exposure while still receiving the benefits of participation.

Since its launch in December of 2006, the ISE-Revere Wal-Mart Suppliers Index has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, CNBC’s Power Lunch, and Forbes.com, among others.
