Business Description:
AMN Healthcare Services, Inc. (AMN Healthcare) is a provider of healthcare staffing and management services. As a provider of travel nurse and allied staffing services, locum tenens (temporary physician staffing) and physician permanent placement services, the Company recruits and places healthcare professionals on assignments of variable lengths and in permanent positions with clients throughout the United States, who range from acute-care hospitals and physician practice groups to other healthcare settings, including rehabilitation centers, dialysis clinics, pharmacies, home health service providers and ambulatory surgery centers. It also offers a managed services program to its clients. The Company?s hospital and healthcare facility clients utilize its temporary healthcare staffing services to manage both short and long-term shortages in their staff. In September 2010, the Company acquired Nursefinders, Inc.
